About this innovation challenge
This innovation challenge aims to enhance how passengers access and interact with transport information during unplanned disruptions. When unexpected delays occur, passengers often lack the detailed context needed to understand how an incident will impact their specific journey. Current communication channels don’t always provide enough insight into the severity or duration of disruptions.
By focusing on delivering relevant, timely, and personalised updates, the challenge seeks to equip passengers with information that reduces uncertainty, increases situational awareness, and enables more confident travel decisions.
