NSW Government celebrated Open Data Day through a pitch event on Thursday 5 March 2020.
WHAT IS OPEN DATA DAY?
Open Data Day is an annual celebration of open data all over the world. In its tenth year, groups from around the world will create local events on the day where they will use open data in their communities. It is an opportunity to show the benefits of open data and encourage the adoption of open data policies in government, business and civil society.
The Transport for NSW Open Data team in conjunction with the NSW Department of Customer Service Data.NSW Team and Information and Privacy Commission NSW supported and celebrated Open Data Day by hosting a pitch event.
We wanted to see what open data you have used to provide a better customer service or outcome. Nine pitchers demonstrated their work and ideas on existing open data to be in the chance for prizes.
